We have a great Team of coaches who train the All Starz Students. Every staff member
is professionally trained & has been involved in the sport for the majority
of their lives. They attend regular clinics, seminars, certifications, & camps.
Most of the coaches are former competitive All Starz Gymnasts: six of them were
All Starz State Champions, & one of them was a National Champion. The coaches
all have a love for gymnastics and enjoy sharing that with the children. Each
instructor has their own unique teaching style – many students will “click”
with a certain instructor & will be able to progress at a faster rate while
working with them. For this reason every class will train with three or more coaches
a week. For example: one or two coaches may lead warm-up, & one may lead stretching.
Then after stretching, one or more coach will work with the students on each event.
When the gymnasts rotate to the next event they will work with a different coach(s).
We have 5 dance instructors at All Starz. Every instructor has an extensive competitive
dance background, & has won many regional & national titles & awards.
They are continually furthering their training & keeping up with the latest
dance trends through clinics, workshops, & competitions. Each dance class
has one specific dance instructor who teaches them each week. The younger groups
often have an assistant instructor also. For extra group routines, two or more
dance instructors will often team up to choreograph & teach the number.
