The All Starz Gymnastics Team recently competed in the AZ State Gymnastics Championships. With the large number of competitive gymnasts in the State of AZ they have to break up the levels into sessions over two different weekends for State. The Level 7-10 AZ State Championships were held March 25th-27th in Tuscon, AZ. Three Level 9 Gymnasts competed for All Starz: Briana Mecom, Brooke McFarland, & Sydney Tribbett. This is the first time Kingman has ever had more than two gymnasts at this high of level! Tribbett placed 3rd all around & won a total of 5 bronze medals. McFarland Mecom placed 4th All Around. McFarland placed 5th All Around. Level 8 Madeline Tribbett placed 9th All Around & was selected to compete in the Regional Championships on April 15-17th in Long Beach California. She competed against all qualifying gymnasts from Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, Northern California, and Southern California. Tribbett won the title of Regional Level 8 Gymnastics Bronze Medalist on bars with a 9.5!!
The Level 3-6 Teams competed at their State Championships in Chandler, AZ on April 2nd to 3rd. 11 year old Level 5 Olivia Diaz won the gold medal on the uneven bars with a score of 9.5. 8 year old Level 4 Briana Hecker won a gold medal on vault with a score of 9.55. Briana also won bronze in the all around with a score of 36.25. 11 year old Level 4 Adriana Martinez won a gold medal on Vault with a 9.45. |
